Smooth Moves Relocation Services Ltd. is a family owned and operated home based business established in early May 1998. Smooth Moves incorporated on October 20, 1998 (sooner than anticipated) due to overwhelming support from the Calgary community.
The company is headed by Eric Mas, a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the University of Victoria. Smooth Moves operates an open management style while maintaining a high level of quality control. The owner carries furniture with the men on various trucks to get a hands on feel for what could improve the service.
Employees are given a high level of responsibility which often includes maintenance of their assigned truck.
